Battery Test
If you’ve had your RAV4 or Camry for more than a few years, you’ve likely noticed that it often has difficulty starting in cold weather, especially when the temperature drops below freezing. This is because the batteries need to access more power or charge in order to get the engine up and running when the outside air is cold. And although giving the battery a jump start often works, there will come a time when the battery dies for good. To avoid having this happen when you are ready to leave for work, we recommend getting a battery test. Our technicians can use a tool that quickly checks to see how much power the battery has left and let you know if they think it will last through the winter. We can easily install a new Genuine Toyota battery or simply clean up the current battery to make sure you can stay on the move.
Tire Inspection
Tires are another crucial component to check before winter hits. You may have been able to drive on tires with low tread during the dry summer months, but without the proper amount of tread you will likely find yourself losing traction as soon as snow starts coating the roads. Whether you prefer to inspect your Toyota’s tires at home or allow our technicians to do so here at our service bay, we encourage you to do so as soon as possible.
