The 2026 Toyota Camry XLE comes packed with substantial tech upgrades as well, beginning with its 12.3-in. touchscreen display. It’s a sizeable jump up in screen real estate compared to the 8-in. version on offer in the base trim, and includes support for an optional 9-speaker JBL® Premium Audio1 system that comes outfitted with a subwoofer and amplifier. The digital gauge cluster also sees a bump in size, going from a 7-in. display to a 12.3-in. variation. If you desire even more ways to access information, access the 10-in. color Head-Up Display that’s introduced as an option on this trim. One final touch is the auto-dimming day/night rearview mirror added to every XLE edition, which includes a HomeLink®2 universal transceiver. This tool lets you access smart home devices before you even park in your garage.
Performance
In its standard FWD configuration, the Toyota Camry XLE is backed by a 47/45/46 MPG city/hwy/combined3 fuel economy rating. The available AWD setup will be slightly less efficient around the streets of Matteson, but gets a slight bump on the highway with a 46/46/46 MPG city/hwy/combined3 EPA estimate. It also boasts improved traction in wet or slick road conditions, and achieves 232 net system horsepower through its 2.5L 4-cylinder hybrid engine and set of front and rear permanent magnet motors.
