Performance
With two dynamic powertrain options, the 2026 Toyota 4Runner is a force to be reckoned with whenever it hits the road. The standard assembly is an i-FORCE 2.4L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that produces 278 horsepower and 317 lb.-ft. of torque. On the other hand, you can choose to upgrade to an available i-FORCE MAX 2.4L turbocharged 4-cylinder hybrid powertrain that achieves 326 horsepower and 465 lb.-ft. of torque. All models use an 8-speed automatic transmission, which will allow you to achieve a variety of speeds without any sudden jerks. Eco, Normal, Sport, and TOW/HAUL5 modes come standard, but you can opt for available Comfort, Sport S, Sport S+, and Custom modes to truly optimize each and every drive.
Interior
While the 4Runner offers a standard 2-row, 5-person seating capacity, you have the option to add a third row to enjoy an available 7-person capacity. Before you set off toward Harrison Park, use the available 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with 4-way power lumbar support to find your ideal position. To keep your copilot comfortable without compromising your temperature preferences, spring for the available dual-zone automatic climate control system.
